Ruby on Rails Engineer/ Senior Engineer/ Technical Lead (Experience 3 to 10 Years)

Job description

• Lead the team developing next generation of EMR technologies • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code. • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. • Design and implement Ruby on Rails applications to automate internal business processes. • Translate complex Billing, Accounting, CRM & other enterprise processes into easy-to-use solutions • Develop background tasks/workers to automate business workflows. • Integrate with third-party tools with via APIs. • Work throughout the full stack, from database through Rails to jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS

About the role

• 3 – 10 years of progressive IT experience with a minimum of 2+ years in building Ruby on Rails Web applications and RESTful API endpoints • Proficient with scripting languages, specifically Python and Bash • Experience in Object Oriented Java Script. • Must have Linux command line experience. • Good experience in developing and integrating reliable REST web services. • Good experience in Front-end development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, preferrable Vue or React) • Good knowledge on relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL • Knowledge of any Document/object-based databases (Redis or MongoDB) • Should have exposure to cloud Resources (AWS, Azure, inc.) • Should have experience in version control systems such as GIT and Bit bucket. • Possess good communication, organizational and creative thinking skills. • Multi-tasking individual that likes to work both in a team environment and individually. • Excellent technical abilities, leadership, decision making, and adaptability to new technology • Good knowledge of Agile processes and practice • Team player • BCA/MCA, B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent
