Technical Architect/ Senior Technical Architect

Job description

 You will influence architecture, design and QA directions across the multiple engagements.  You will evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware, cloud services and suggest integration methods.  You will work closely with the stakeholders and manage expectations both across distributed teams as well as with the clients.  You will work closely and mentor less experienced team members, perform code reviews and providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements

About the role

 Hands-on experience in Architecture, Design and implementation of end-to-end scalable solutions.  An in-depth understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and experience in securely integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models with a specific focus on GCP and AWS.  Familiarity with relational (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2) and non relational databases (e.g. BigTable, DynamoDB, Mongo, Neo4j)  Proficiency in programming technologies (Java, Python, Spring MVC, AOP, Angular / React), micro service design patterns and considerations (ACID, BASE, CAP, SAGA), Open Source libraries and frameworks (Airflow, Beam), and technology architecture concepts (DDD, CQRS, Reactive, Event Driven).  Appreciation of Agile methodology and how practices Refactoring / Continuous Integration / Continuous Testing (TDD, BDD) and Continuous Delivery impacts the code quality and design aspects.
